Torus Power TOT AVR
Torus Power TOT AVR is an isolation transformer/power conditioner, designed for small to medium sized audio systems, it has three sockets on the rear each having a maximum current output of 5A.
The TOT AVR builds upon the compact TOT series by adding Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR). Automatic Voltage Regulation technology counters the effects of voltage sags, power line surges and brownouts that can stress and shorten equipment life by providing stable voltage within a +/- 10V threshold. AVR detects and automatically compensates for abnormally high or low voltage to ensure that the voltage powering equipment remains at optimal levels.
Compact and competitively priced, the TOT AVR isolation transformer uses Plitron’s ‘LONO’ (Low Noise) transformer design technology, which eliminates audible noise in the power transformer, in tandem with the Company’s Narrow Bandwidth Technology (NBT) noise-filtering technology, to restore incoming power to its clean original state regardless of power-line conditions.
