A Special Evening Celebrating the Australian Debut of the Innuos Nazaré

As a very busy week came to a close, we were delighted to host a truly special evening — the official Australian release and first presentation of the Innuos Nazaré Streamer.

Setting the Scene

The night began with an excellent presentation from Cameron Keating of Maxmedia, the Australian distributor for Innuos and Avantgarde. Cameron’s insights set the scene beautifully, leading into a revealing and deeply engaging listening session that allowed Nazaré to demonstrate exactly what it is capable of.

Direct from Portugal: The Story Behind Nazaré

A real highlight of the evening was the opportunity to hear directly from Nuno Vitorino, Co-Founder and Director at Innuos, who joined us live from Portugal. Nuno shared the development journey behind Nazaré — the design philosophy, technical challenges, and thought processes involved in creating what is now Innuos’ new flagship digital source.

Passion, Performance, and the Innuos Philosophy

Following the already phenomenal performance of the Statement Next-Gen, Nazaré was never going to be an easy product to develop. Yet it was clear throughout the evening that the passion and dedication of Nuno and his team remain unwavering. Their commitment to delivering an exceptional listening experience for Innuos owners is evident in every detail.

Roon Compatibility and the Rise of Sense

While remaining fully Roon compatible, many listeners are now discovering Innuos’ own Sense App — a beautifully executed interface that offers outstanding usability while delivering exceptional sound quality. It was a topic of much discussion on the night and one that continues to impress many users.

Gratitude Behind the Scenes

Events like this don’t happen without support, and we would like to sincerely thank Cameron and Sarah Keating for travelling over from Melbourne, Jacob for meticulously setting up and balancing the systems, and ensuring everything sounded just right on the night.

A very special thank you also goes to my wonderful wife Barb (whose first reaction to hosting an event in mid-December was to ask if I was insane!), my daughter Laura, and our close friends Terry and Di for their help with catering, the bar, and everything else that needed doing behind the scenes.
