It was in the Mid 80’s that Holger Fromme and Mathias Ruff joined forces to fulfil their dream of building the best speakers in the world. It was from this vision of two idealists, that one of the most prestigious and innovative audio companies was born.
Avantgarde was established in 1991.
We are fortunate to have the Uno SD (Active Version) speakers on demonstration in our showroom.
A unique speaker with fully active Bass but with the ability to be heard with either the built in amplification for High Frequency and Midrange or switched to passive mode to use your own power amplifier to drive the High Frequency and Midrange.
They can be ordered Active with full amplification on board or as a Passive speaker with on board crossover but will either configuration always have onboard Active Bass.
You have a vast array of both cabinet and horn colour options to make your speaker very much your own visual creation.
